Having been through a large number of Mathematics courses while finishing up University in the last couple of years, this list struck me as extremely funny. I know for a fact that I have used a number of these ‘proof styles’ in my homework, and hoped they would skip past my professor.
My favorite, which I have heard a number of times is,
Proof by Necessity: “It had better be true, or the entire structure of mathematics would crumble to the ground.”
